I Didn't Know this

Maybe I'm just behind the curve, but I didn't know this:
Dr. Reid was one of the most vocal advocates of the Bosnian Serb cause and a drinking partner of the indicted war criminal, Dr. Radovan Karadzic, before a volte-face - typical of his career - when he became one of the most vocal New Labour advocates of bombing Yugoslavia in 1999.)
More controversially, during the 1990s Bosnian War, Reid struck up a friendship with Serb rebel leader and indicted war-criminal Radovan Karadzic; Reid has admitted that he spent three days at a luxury Geneva lakeside hotel as a guest of Karadzic in 1993.
If everybody else knew, just ignore me, if not - there you go.
This is the same John Reid who suggests those who oppose the Iraq war are appeasers, and supporters of Saddam!?
Thanks to the commenters on Chicken Yoghurt for the Hat tip.
I saw that in the comments
I saw that in the comments at Chicken Yogurt too and I had no idea. Well you learn something new every day.
This is also the same John Reid who finds the Geneva Conventions inconvenient and thinks we shouldn't criticise our troops when they abuse Iraqis. Come to think of it we we should have guessed.
Does John Reid get his
Does John Reid get his talking points from a foreign government?
News to me too. Another
News to me too. Another reason to be fearful - especially as this guy is in charge of our armed forces!
