Friends of Blairwatch have been digging and some interesting questions are arising.

Is all this fuss just about a casino, or is there something more?

Let's take a look at the Dome. For a start it's not just going to be a casino but is also a major venue in the 2012 Olympics and Prescott hot footed it over to the ranch shortly after the London bid was announced as the winner. Interestingly the budget for the Olympics has rocketed. How much of this cash will go to Mr Anschutz or on renovating his Dome?

Of course we gave the Dome away for nothing, just a share of future profits. A mega casino will generate huge profits. Is this why New Labour have been almost demonically keen to open this casino?

What could sum up the New Labour years more appropriately than a vast, unwanted and unloved, white elephant that has cost the taxpayer a huge fortune over the years and is the epitome of a failure and laughing stock.
