Behold the Author of our Foreign Policy

Watch George explain everything. Watch Tony look on in barely concealed horror...
I could fisk this, but what is really important is to see just how clueless the President is and the total lack of any understanding of the situation.
Spotted on the first rate Talking Points Memo
Yes, this is quite a
Yes, this is quite a confirmation of what most of us have been thinking for a while. However, to see the whole nauseating truth, I suggest setting aside three-quarters of an hour and visiting www.cspan.org to open their coverage of the occasion - the horror of Blair can then be compared with the crassness of Bush.
I literally sat with my jaw
I literally sat with my jaw hanging. It's a common idea that he is stupid but as you say, it just demonstrates a complete lack of any understanding.
It's also disturbingly easy to flip his tirade around and look at it as him describing America's actions which applies especially to the bit in the last 30 seconds where he says something along the lines of "they get on TV and have people ask them all sorts of questions", that provoked what can only be described as a guffaw from me.
How can those press core people sit there every day without pissing themselves with laughter... maybe it's just shock and horror?
Has he hit the bottle or
Has he hit the bottle or Anti-depressant again?
He sure looks as if he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Poor lad... There places for him to go to, like a padded walled room... Oh I forgot, that's the oval office isn't it?
Anyone notice how he 'has' to always mention 9/11 ?

Well, it is his administrations biggest achievment to date.
Without it there would have been no Iraq war, no Afghanistan war and any attack on Syria or Iran would have been unthinkable.
That one act has justified everything that follows - civil rights clampdowns, mass spying, disregard of international laws, torture, big profits, etc. etc. etc.
He's obviously a proud man.
George Bush is the most
George Bush is the most singularly clueless man on the face of the earth.
As time goes by more and more people of his own party begin to disown him and realize his failure. He refuses to hear a word of it and responds by digging in and staying the course of his insane plan.
This is sure to become more surreal in the days to come. I am waiting for the day which will enevitably come when he has to face the camera like Nixon and admit disgrace.
Well I'm delighted that
Well I'm delighted that George was able to shed so much light on things middle eastern for me. What a man. America can be proud!
If Bush is so keen to
If Bush is so keen to promote democracy why does he ignore the democratically elected governments of Palestine and Lebanon and why does he support coups of democratic governments in Haiti and Venezuala and the knobbling of democratic elections in Mexico. Bush really is utterly thick and a complete wanker. What a depressing combination. And how morally corrupt is Poodle Blair. He's going on to a nice earner at Murdoch's Empire. His future millions will doubtless soften the pain of his tattered legacy as ( to borrow from John Bolton's epitaph) "a quintessential kiss-up, kick-down kind of a guy". It'll be warm where these two pious Christians are heading if there is a God.
Jesus ... we really are in
Jesus ... we really are in deep shit.
You've got to start asking why Blair keeps doing as he's told. Really why. There's more to it than the nonsense the media feeds us, along the lines that Blair really believes in what he's doing for some reason or other. Why? ... no one seems to be digging away at this one. Why?
Remember: when Blair commits, that's us he's committing - you, me, our kids. So I would have thought we really ought to know why.
That Bush scares the hell out of me. Is he really competent to be President of the United States? Doesn't seem so to me.
And why is Blair going along with it all?
Blair's final comment sums
Blair's final comment sums it up:
"I don't think, erm......"
Good fisking of the speech that informs Bush's analysis here

Marvelous. A truly classic
Marvelous. A truly classic demonstration of complete incoherence. No doubt he meant every word of his prolonged response to what was, after all, a relatively simple question to understand - and sidestep. It's just that he didn't manage to put the words into anything approaching joined up sentences.
Perhaps he's suffering from premature senile decay. Certainly we are all suffering from whatever he's got. It's time for a change in medication, I think, but the prognosis is not good.
