Palestine Prepares Fond Welcome For The Great Statesman

Lifting one's head from gorging on the rotting carcass of the Brown/Blair alliance, it's something of a surprise to find there's still a world outside, and one with a good deal of anger in it. Take this from some Palestinians who unaccountably can't see the benefit of providing an agreeable and hospitable welcome to a man who, with close relations to the US and Israeli governments, is obviously in a fine position to provide succor and relief to the besieged.

Of course, it's all a bit late now - if Tony hadn't had to ask permission from George Bush before he went to help the Middle East he might have done some good (like taking a cluster bomb in the face).

It's nice to see Mark Regev taking such a positive view of Blair's visit. They're a fine matched pair of fucking liars, after all:

Mark Regev, an Israeli foreign ministry spokesman, said that the agenda for talks would include Lebanon, the Palestinians and Iran as well as Israel's relations with Europe and Britain. "It is an important visit," he said. "He is one of the most important statesmen on the global stage today

Let's get this clear - Blair's talking *about* the Palestinians, the Lebanese and Iranians, but not *to* the Palestinians (except Abbas), Lebanese and Iranians, instead preferring to sort out the world with people like Ehud Olmert, Tzipi Livni and presumably George Bush. That's really bringing democracy to the Middle East, isn't it, Tony?

Anyone know what the

Anyone know what the extradition laws are from Israel back to the UK?
Teflon might be looking for a bolt hole safe from Inspector Yates & the War Crimes Commission.

He could ask Lord Levy about

He could ask Lord Levy about that. Levy's also got a spare room avaliable, should circumstance require it.

I can see him settleing down next to Dame Shirley Porter

Blair probably won't have

Blair probably won't have Dame Shirly Porter for company. She has returned to London and bought a £1.5 million flat in Mayfair with the money she said she didn't have. It looks like it'll just be Blair and Levy with a sypathetic government.

Israel has extradition

Israel has extradition treaties with exactly one other country, the U.S. and that is only for 30 or so crimes. Blair will be safe there - he can stay at Levy's luxery pad (although some call it a palace) in Tel Aviv.

Anyone twigged on yet that this country is totally fucked? Dunno why people keep looking at the detail and ignoring the bigger picture - namely that the US government, and therefore the UK is under the direct control of extreme zionists. People like Mark Regev are the supposedly 'nice' side of these evil bastards.

Wake up, stand up and do something to get your government back.

Israel is the biggest criminal state on the planet and should be punished by the international community. They have been milking the holocaust for far too long.

Perhaps Hamas will kidnap

Perhaps Hamas will kidnap Blair for a large ransome. They would be well adevised not to hold their breath while they wait for the money...

Shame that the Lebanese and

Shame that the Lebanese and Palestinians were so decent about warning the Bliar not to visit. I had been hoping that he might have been planning an open-car cavalcade through southern Lebanon.

Would have saved Gordon a lot of trouble...

Unless the "terrorists" get him first it looks like we shall need something like the anti-war version of the Simon Wiesenthal Centre to ensure that sometime in their later lives all the war criminals are tracked down, tried and, preferably, executed.

Britain is considering new

Britain is considering new anti-semitism laws after a poll recently showed that a growing number of people are anti-Israel (don't know why that should be).

The same poll also showed that a growing number of people are anti-moslem, but that does not matter right?

The good news is that,

The good news is that, according to Democracy Now!, Ehud Olmert has been charged with war crimes in Spain thereby making it impossible for him to visit Europe or any other country Spain has an extradition agreement with.

Do you have a source for

Do you have a source for this news [olmert charged...] as have jsut trawled through El Pais and can't find mention of it.

If it's true it's huge news indeed. I've wondered more than once if Spain will get round to charging Blair and Bush at some point, now that I'd like to see. Of course what with the unbalanced extradition treaty with the US, I can see Tony will be applying for his green card soon.

Will Blair ever quit? Or is

Will Blair ever quit? Or is he depending on Bush's support to create for himself a period of 'terrorist scares', wars and economic crises which enable him to create a national government with the fellow-fascist Cameron and even justify emergency rule, including martial law?

I wouldn't put it past him as behind that strained smile hides a dangerous psychopath.

This so-called May 2007 deadline was what the Sun was advising him as, no doubt, an order from Blair's handler, Murdoch. Brown was clearly black-mailed into accepting it with the threat that, if he didn't, the Labour Party would tear itself apart leading to some sort of national government or Blair-Cameron coalition which would effectively deny Brown his ambitions forever.

That was the threat the Sun was making yesterday, that is to say Murdoch making his views public.

Britain is, anyway, effectively a dictatorship by any other name.

Israeli PM Olmert Faces War

Israeli PM Olmert Faces War Crimes Suit in Spain (DN!, 6/9/06)

"Spanish National radio is reporting that a lawsuit is being filed today in Spain’s high court against Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. He is being accused of committing crimes against humanity for ordering military attacks on civilians in Lebanon and Gaza. In recent days, Israel’s Foreign Ministry has expressed concern that senior Israeli military and governmental officials could be prosecuted overseas for committing war crimes in Lebanon. Israeli legal experts say some officers or government officials who traveled to Europe stood the risk of being arrested."

Israel Concerned Over War Crimes Charges (DN!, 5/9/06)

"Israel’s Foreign Ministry is concerned that senior Israeli military and governmental officials could be prosecuted overseas for committing war crimes in Lebanon. Israeli legal experts say some officers or government officials who traveled to Europe stood the risk of being arrested. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reports that the Foreign Ministry has urged top officials against making inflammatory statements that might be used against them in legal proceedings."

Well that answer my question

Well that answer my question posed earlier - thanks.
Perhaps Gordano was threatened with a bit of extra-ordinary rendition the other day?

Olmert's war crimes 1. How

Olmert's war crimes

1. How come only Democracy Now is reporting the Spanish war crime charges - no mention in any other on-line news source? Hmmm

2. Blairwatch: what do you mean "not *to* the Palestinians (except Abbas)". Is Abbas not the democratically elected Palestinian president? Does someone have to be a Hamas member to legitimately count as a Palestinian in your world view?

Apparently it was carried on

Apparently it was carried on Radio Nacional Espana as well. As for the rest, who knows? But after the general conspiracy of silence of the MSM on issues like 911, the Stolen US Elections of 2000 and 2004, I'm not surprised.

So now we know

So now we know ...

--President George W Bush's spokesman, Tony Snow, emphasised Mr Bush's continued support for the Prime Minister. "Don't count Tony Blair out," said Mr Snow. "Tony and the president have a lot of work to do. He's still the Prime Minister of Great Britain, he's a valuable ally."--

What about a 'BrownWatch'

What about a 'BrownWatch' blog chronicling the demise of that awful man about whom Charles Clarke was spot on when he said that Brown would make a 'fucking dreadful prime minister'.

Shouldn't that be

Shouldn't that be 'Brown-Nose Watch' or would that invite too many other political and mainstream media candidates?

Want to view what you are

Want to view what you are getting if anybody in labour becomes the PM? Try this little nugget that is flying through a disinterested Parliament at the moment.

Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill

If anybody needed any further proof that the Labour party are unfit to lead anything other than a team of Jack Russell’s pulling a sled. They bring us the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill! Well that doesn’t sound very horrible you may think, but you are wrong.

The Bill gives those in power the right to alter any law they see fit that as been passed by Parliament. The limitations it imposes on itself are that no new law can be created that carries a penalty of over two years in prison and it cannot be used to increase taxation.

Now you can see that this little law with the boring name isn’t so boring in reality. In fact if you happen to be a minister in government it means you can do everything you ever wished to do and more. Parliament can be side tracked simply by proposing legislation that will pass through parliament and then rewriting it to suit your needs.

But it definitely gets much worse than that. The bill applies to all laws past, as well as those yet to come. That hunting ban that riled the countryside so much could be amended to completely ban all hunting with dogs or guns. Not so bad if you are a lover of all things cute in the countryside. But it could also be used to amend the public smoking ban to include stopping you smoking in your own home. You’re not a smoker? Then what about the fact that this bill applies to every Act of Parliament ever created, even the things the left approve of including Section 28 and the Human Rights Act.

Most worryingly the bill also applies to itself. The limitations imposed on itself concerning taxation and crime creation are also liable to change by the minister who so wishes.

You may be thinking that no person could ever use such a law to do anything terrible. But if people are incapable of such travesties, then who would propose a law with this much power, and purposely create it to empower a very few in the first place? The answer is the Labour party.

And a point for the left again, you may approve of the nanny state where the politically ambitious gain the power of Lenin. But what happens the day after Labour loses, which it will eventually, and the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill falls into the hands of the Tories, or anybody else maybe an hundred years from now.

Welcome to Airstrip One people, I’ll be selling Eau De Vie from my shed if you ever get bored of the Victory Gin.

Well, it's normal that the

Well, it's normal that the Palestinians have cold feelings for someone who helped stop those US 25,000 cheques from Saddam to the suicide bombers families. It's ironic how the bombings suddenly stopped when the cheques stopped, I guess bombing for free isn't an option.
At any rate, I DO wish the Palestinians WOULD give us a list of whom we CAN have close relations with.

not *to* the Palestinians

not *to* the Palestinians (except Abbas)

I meant he's not talking to the elected Hamas government, in particular, partly because they're in jail in Israel and partly because 'we don't talk to terrorists', except when we do. One terrorist we did talk to, namely Gerry Adams, was in Palestine the other day talking to Hamas, incidentally. There's a man who back in the balaclava days benefitted from some large cheques from certain people in, er, the USA, of course.

Yes, Irish Americans, whose

Yes, Irish Americans, whose ancestors were brutally starved, sent off their land, shipped to the States, forced to walk down the coast to Boston and New York, sent plenty of cash to the IRA. Seems far from the Palestinian issue though, also I don't recall the IRA calling for the destruction of England. (What business is it of Gerry Adams to go visiting Hamas anyway?) Actually, I don't have much sympathy for the Palestinians, except for the poor people who have to live under the rule of those thugs and who will never be able to live and grow unfettered.

My irony chip has just

My irony chip has just overloaded.

Shouldn't that read

Shouldn't that read "President George W Bush's spokesman, Tony Blair"? Obvious typo. By the way, am I the only person still guessing what the W stands for?

A lovely little nugget on

A lovely little nugget on the public smoking ban - there's one local council who have put out a circular to tenants of social housing telling them that if they have an appointment for a council official to visit their homes for any reason, they must refrain from smoking for a minimum of two hours prior to the appointment time. Oh boy.

Well, obviously. The

Well, obviously. The Lebanese and Palestinians shouldn't really be having too much of a say on the future of their states because, let's face it, they're not really, well, for want of a better word, Westernised. Far better for them to sit in the corner like good boys while Blair, Bush, Olmert and other brain-dead anti-Arab fuckwits make the decisions for them. Makes sense, really. That's democracy.
