While on the Subject of 'Black Sites'...
Posted September 12th, 2006 by ringverse
So Dubya has admitted the existence of 'so called 'Black Sites' - secret prisons outside of the US where detainees can be questioned by 'specialist interrogators'.
Does anybody else remember Blairs words on the subject at a Press Conference of December last year?
[Listen here]
I, I have absolutely no evidence to suggest that anything illegal has been happening here at all, and I'm not going to start ordering inquires into this, that and the next thing when I've got no evidence to show whether this is right or not - and I, honestly, and you know, it's like all this stuff about camps in Europe or something - I don't know, I've never heard of such a thing.
I can't tell you whether such a thing exists - because, er - I don't know.
I can't tell you whether such a thing exists - because, er - I don't know.
As ever, there is enough wriggle room for the Bliar, as he refers to the existence of sites in Europe, and the US have not disclosed the locations of their gulags - but are we to belive that Blair had no idea that the UK was receiving intelligence from secret prisons?
As ever Teflon was being
As ever Teflon was being economical with the truth.
I wrote to my local MP, Yvette Cooper, when the brown stuff was flying over the rendition flights routing thru the UK. Telling her she should be more concerned with her boss's comments, and the government's attitude towards human rights, than about putting solar panels on roofs.
Of course I never got a reply from the sanctimonious, snout in the trough old sow.
So she is another one that I hope joins Teflon in the dock at The Hague.
Well! Fancy that nice man
Well! Fancy that nice man Bush not telling his pal Teflon Tony about his interrogation centres. He must have just forgotten about them. So that's alright then...

Jack Straw KNOWS whether
Jack Straw KNOWS whether Bliar was directly told about the Torture in Uzbekistan, and the use of it made by the US /UK Intel nasties .
Any reading of the papers of the last 5 years will know that torture was "outsourced" regularly ? And TB reads them , or not ?
And you can't outsource without transportation...............
"I have absolutely no
"I have absolutely no evidence.."
Someone should remind him that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. You'd think that an ex-lawyer would know that, but then I don't suppose he was very good at that, either.
