If you thought the way Tony Bliar deliberately misrepresented and manipulated 'intelligence' information to sell his lies about Iraq to the UK was bad you should go and watch this issue of Democracy Now. They discuss just how much evidence the Conniver in Chief of the US had that he was lying about Iraq to justify his wish to invade Iraq.
Entertainingly it seems that much of the 'evidence' presented to the US people, UN and Congress was actually from people the CIA believed were agents of Iranian intelligence. Maybe that's why Bush is so pissed at Iran now ;-)

In Britain we seem to have those who believe that all warfare is a travesty, but then extrapolate that the West is ultimately responsible for all hatred and therefore must disengage from all its enemies. In general these people also vote labour and think the European Super State is a great idea. Unfortunately they are also pre-disposed to believe that 911 was a neo con plot of a scale Hitler would blush at.

Well here’s some news for the little piglets. Dinner Jacket, Nasrallah and Zawahri really are the wolves at the door and they will blow your house down unless you are prepared to fight. They are huffing and puffing right now. Only the left is not barricading the door it is loosening the hinges.

If this was Animal Farm the pigs would be inviting the farmers in to destroy the windmill while they placated the farmyard animals with elevator music. The left have become the pigs not gorged on power but on self pity.

I walked past my Primary school recently and the playground around my first year classroom is now fenced off to protect the youngsters from the older children. I know nobody from my school who at the age of five got bullied by older children. The assumption is that all people are evil, even the small ones, so they must be protected. Bristol is being pressured to apologise for being part of a slave trade that Britain ultimately put paid to. I read a diatribe from an Irish man who strongly believes that Britain and America should be brought up on war crimes for the bombings of places like Dresden and Schwienfurt. He obviously ignores the fact that Nazism stamped its boots on millions of people across the World.

They are piglets with a Toyota Prius. Happy to live their isolated lives and send their children to paid schools while they expect the man and woman in the street to follow their advice but not the way they live their lives. Margaret Beckett comes from the government that brings you four wheel drive hatred. But she drives a Range Rover!

I never miss a chance to show my arse to anybody who thinks they know me well enough to control my life. Blair is just another bloke in the street. He isn't God. You earn my respect or you lose it, but the fact that you live in No.10 means nothing.

If Labour are unprepared to offer stability then the public will find its own.

Political Aphasia … .

Whilst we accept (and applaud) the well reasoned post (containing many very valid points) from Mertaxa, it does highlight a common thread in political discussion today; that of Political Aphasia - a confusion between left and right.

Many label the neo-cons (both US and UK) as a far RIGHT entity and many have also said that bLiar is a RIGHT wing betrayal of traditional LABOUR (presumed to be LEFT) values.

The reality is that the extremes of both left and right merge into a similar looking totalitarianism. This is usually characterised by
- loss of individual freedoms
- transfer of power to the state
- removal of accountability for the state
- a sham ‘democracy’.
- lies become bigger and more blatant

Gradually the “state” becomes the confused with the elite who control the state and oligarchy or dictatorship emerges. This is precisely what we observe happening in both the US and the UK with ostensibly right and left regimes respectively.

We believe that the escalating mistrust of politicians in UK and US derives from a realisation of being conned as they observe the emergence of the 5 characteristics above. A corollary to this is that the escalating global anger toward the US (and by association the UK and Australia) derives from a realisation that the “holier than thou” myth of “exporting democracy” is founded on a cynical lie.

The FACTS remain; “we the people” NEVER wanted
- the murder of tens of thousands of innocent villagers in the name of ‘security’ or for any other reason.
- regime change in foreign lands on the basis of lies by deceitful politicians to achieve objectives more related to their PERSONAL wealth and power than any security issue..
- loss of freedoms, a database state and constant surveillance ‘for our own benefit’

So, when it comes to “showing your arse” please (like Mertaxa) “show it” to all self-serving politicians who make ANY attempt to move us toward a totalitarian state.

It so happens that bLiar is such a person and thoroughly deserves to be continually hounded until he is brought to justice. Indeed we believe it is our duty to do this so as to hold up his eventual incarceration as an example to all others who may follow that “we the people” simply will not tolerate corruption, war-crimes or a totalitarian state. We must also ensure that the punishment is so severe that no-one will again be tempted to the crimes bLiar has committed.
