As commodity and equity market traders we need a broad range of news from multiple sources in multiple geographies in order to do what we do.

We almost never watch TV news but we do read at least 20 on-line news sources each day.

is consistently of excellent quality and appears to be among the least prapagandist/partisan of the news sources.

Don't know about Freeview but it's on Sky at 514 - thankfully in the News section not lost amid International

I'm sorry to say that a couple of my arab friends have already dubbed the new channel 'Aljazeera lite'. oh well, early days I suppose.

Let's just hold off on judgment until we get a story that would typically be subject to western news media bias and see how they report it. e.g. another Israeli atrocity in gaza etc.
