There has been a Video of Robert Newman floating around google video for a long while that addresses this issue I posted the clip to my blog here on the 28th of November.

This a few days after China was reported to be 1 trillion of US reserves (was the report true?? who knows, but it was reported!)

BBC latest headline: "US current account deficit widens to $225bn in third quarter." but actually it's far, far worse, because the Fed now hides from us the number of dollars in circulation, so you know they the apparent value is much higher than the reality (or they would take advantage of an actual higher value to pay off their debts!)

The US economy is rapidly dying, right now! in front of our very eyes!! Its unprecedented. Cue the false-flag, the imposition of martial law in the US, conscription, the filling of US concentration camps, the attack on Iran.

That parasite Israel desperately needs US $ to survive. When the US people revolt against the US Govt giving Israel dollars much needed at home for US citizens, Israel will not be able to maintain its occupation of Palestine without these US $. Israel has to stop the US people from revolting (the last remaining bubble of postponement - the housing bubble is already said to have burst)- hence an attack on Iran to precipitate martial law in the US.

Stock up on food people and thyroid saturating Iodine.

For those that don’t know...

Paper money is just a token for something with real value (such as gold), but already this paper money experiences a devaluation scam because banks are allowed to practice fractional reserve banking. In other words, a bank can lend say 10 times the amount of paper money compared to the amount of Gold it holds. I've even heard it said that banks have gone to 100 times (i.e. 1% reserves).

Many analysts have said the US govt no longer possesses Gold as it has used it to pay its debt to the private bank that lends it money - the federal reserve. So when the money it borrows from the fed is now worthless, the US govt has less ability to pay its debts to creditor nations (such as China) OR to the fed.

The dollar will plunge even more.

The only think keeping the dollar afloat is that it's the currency used for trading in oil. Oil is an extremely valuable commodity. If countries like Iran trade oil in euros then the last remaining thing bolstering the dollar gets flushed down the toilet.

Other countries also will not be happy with the dollars decline as they may get less 'value' for their oil when trading in worthless dollars, so they too are likely to move to other currencies.

Many pundits have linked Iranian moves to trade in euros with an impending attack upon it. The next few weeks will make fascinating and probably tragic viewing.

Hi Tonys Akiller, just a few points of info. The reserves of the US commercial banks are not gold but just cash reserves (notes or electronic credits). The 10% reserve requirement or whatever figure the Fed sets it at, applies to "checking" or "transaction" accounts. The situation with other accounts is more grave as described here:

eh up. Thanks for the providing greater detail to what I was saying. I deliberately kept it simple because many people don't realise the system of economics that is being used to screw the 'little guy' and their eyes rapidly glaze over when this topic is mentioned.

Coupled with those two works, I would read/watch some stuff from John Perkins - author of Confessions Of An Economic Hitman and read/watch some of John Pilgers superb documentaties featuring Globalisation and Imperialism.

By "recently", I mean in the past 4-5 months. When I try to bring these issues up with my friends and family their eyes effectively "glaze over" at the mere mention of the word "FED".

I'm trying figure out a way to effectively communicate my concerns of impending doom to wake up those around me from their suburbanite slumber.

I am wondering if this is just something I am encountering or...

Any suggestions?

Running Mead. I think their eyes glaze over for a number of reasons.

1) They don't understand it.
2) The subject (initially) appears dry
3) The mass media in covering it doesn't make it easy to break in to (seldom explains concepts from simple principles)
4) It is a political issue which people feel powerless/detached about and some wish to avoid political discussion in the belief ill feeling and arguments can occur.
5) The 'Fed' may give the impression that it is solely an American affair.
6) They see no need to think about this issue / see no impact of it on their lives.

If you want your friends/family to become aware of these issues, I would recommend you arrange a joint viewing of the video documentary I mentioned (in your house for example) - make a kind of 'party' out of it. Discuss it after and encourage questions, create a 'economics basics' fact/FAQ sheet to accompany it. Something of that nature.

Its better to have a joint viewing, but failing that, burn the videos (and any necessary player to watch it) onto CD and let them view it in their own time. Next time you see them, ask them if they've watched it yet.

I would stress that you give them a sense of the importance of the information in these documentaries, as economics lies at the (conventional) heart of the way the world works.

{some say there is an deeper hidden heart beneath that (freemasons etc) but economics is something we can all agree on, and is common to the conventional and conspiratorial view of the world}

To end: Most people have developed as 'visual' learners and so videos are the best way to spread info.

Note: Some people will reject and ridicule this info, especially when they first come across it. Others will be shocked and depressed. Either way, the emotions that topics linked to Globalization unlock are real. Understand and respect the emotions that a range of people may feel. Don't 'force' them to accept your perspective. They have a right to reject the information - even if that info is true.
