The human shredder, which was supposed to be at Baghdad's notorious Abu Ghraib prison, has yet to be found.

Last year Britain's Spectator magazine set out to track down the source of the shredder claim, starting with the Times article that was written by a British Labour member of parliament, Ann Clwyd.

Clwyd chaired a group called Indict, which had been campaigning against the Baathist regime that supported Saddam. She had written on March 18, 2003, that male prisoners were dropped into the machine "designed for shredding plastic" and their minced remains packed into plastic bags before being used as "fish food".

Or am I barking at the wrong bush?

While were discussing Clewyds courxces, lets remember Andrew Gilligan who came under enormous pressure to name his source because he found another incidence where out that the criminals squatting in Downing were lying (sex me up baby!). But these nonny sources giving fictitious details of shredders, bombs being manufactured in the houses of British Muslims, nonny sources describing how a 9-11 style attack on Canary Wharf , of liquid bombs, of sources that inform BBC journalists that WTC7 fell, while still standing and most beautifully of all perhaps SADDAMS BOMB (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/correspondent/1191203.stm) never have to name their sources. Along with a few other Journalists especially Frank Garnder I think its clear what’s going on in the Ministry of truth at Portland Place and Whitehall.

And Bliar lies have led to this mess in Iraq.

Let me be pedantic. The "Dodgy Dossier" was the one produced in February 2003, which was so dodgy that nobody took much notice of it. You are presumably referring in this article to the "Sexed-up Dossier" of September 2002, which did at least pretend to be based on intelligence material. Of course by March 2003 the Inspectors had examined all the intelligence in the "Sexed-up Dossier" and rubbished it, but Blair was still saying "We know that Iraq has WMD". It's interesting to note that Blair and his cronies are still sticking grimly to the story that the invasion of Iraq was legal, even though they are also promoting the general idea of illegal military interventions (eg invading Afghanistan and Iraq to change their values). I can only guess that they are afraid of retribution from someone (the Army ?) if they admit that there wasn't really any evidence of WMD and/or the invasion was illegal.  

Cl`wyd's posturing re-Saddam's Iraq,her concerns for the Marsh Arabs are all so much bullshit.

The woman is batty.Without a shred of credibilklty.
