Standing ovation as Blair says: 'I'm quitting next week'

in

So says the Evening Standard. Well... Not soon enough, but I think another 7 days of the smiling git, I can live with. It's the other smiling git I'm worried about.

The Prime Minister used the 10th anniversary of his 1997 election landslide to promise a formal departure date next week. "I will make my position clear next week, I will say something definitive then," he said.

"It's right that a fresh team takes over now. It's an honour and a privilege to be Prime Minister of this country."

All I can say, is Good riddance, join your pal Berlusconi & in 2008/9 you can join up with Bush in The Hague.

Hi all, Been pushing

Hi all,

Been pushing mainstream media to act here in U.S. and been also pushing the media in the UK. Blair is leaving us soon on his own term to a great degree. It is unfortunate that both our democracies, in U.S. and UK, have reached a low that will take decades to crawl out of.

What I have been pushing in mainstream are the following articles
"The Crime Behind The Criminal Wars!"
and
"Is it high treason or just a simple case of dereliction of duty?"

The articles are the same but from the perspective of two audiences, the first is from an international perspective, the second is from an purely American perspective.

Please pass them along.

The stories about supposed

The stories about supposed Iman rule in Turkey(against which their own people protest) is set as background to reduce Blair's negative ratings.

He needs a bad guy to point fingers at on his way out the door...

They must stick to a narrative.

Ah, Toeknee may well be

Ah, Toeknee may well be sloping off but the government benches are still stuffed with world-class comedians. Like Geoff Hoon who`s come out with a corker in the Guardian;

"Giving the most frank assessment of the postwar planning, Mr Hoon, admits that "we didn't plan for the right sort of aftermath".

Really, Geoff? Dya reckon?

On the other hand, mebbe it was a fatal error going into Iraq in the first place, you utter doughball.

My God, is there no end to the power-crazed megalomania of Bowie's supermodel wife?
