And what do you have to look forward to after that? - why His Annointed Brownness who, as quoted on the MSN UK page, says -

"The Britain I believe in is a Britain of fairness and opportunity for all British citizens. Every British citizen with every chance to make the most of themselves, every community fair to every citizen. If you work hard you are better off, if you save you are rewarded, if you play by the rules we will stand by you."

Fairness? Opportunity? Where pray tell is this marvellous land of which he speaks?

It comes across as a lot of highflown, altruistic, forward-looking blah, but when you look closer you can almost smell the Thatcherite subtext. Fairness and opportunity....word hard....play by the rules... god, its such a pro-business, upbeat message delivered with the iron hand of global cretinomics. Not a mention of social justice, welfare, addressing democratic deficits, looking after the young, the sick and the elderly; no, all we are is a hive of drones happily working away within our allotted roles, playing by rules decided by transnational corporations and financiers.

Before that he had the cojones to say - " in the weeks and months ahead my task is to show that I have the new ideas, the vision and the experience to earn the trust of the British people". In the name of the wee man, have we not had enough of radical new ideas being stuffed down the nation`s collective throat? Personally, I`d like to see some radical old ideas put into effect - how about ministers resigning when they do something terrible?

But let`s face it, Big Gordie is going to make such an easy target in the weeks and months ahead. Let the party begin!

Sounds a bit like Gord has nicked his ideology off Nikolas Sarkozy, the old trying to please all of the people all of the time routine. The question is, to guess whose yacht he will be having a holiday on, immediately after being elected? 

Or, will he decide to re-commission the old Royal yacht, which is not too far from his constituency to get one up on Sarky?

So Gord is playing the old Nikolas Sarkozy line, wanting to govern for all the people and please everyone, all of the time. Can we have a game guessing whose yacht he will be holidaying on, immediately after being elected? If he is elected of course.

My bet is that he re-commissions the old Royal yacht, which is not far from his constituency anyhow and he could park it there whenever.

Captain Swing speaks of a marvellous land that Gord mentioned, and asks where it is. That's simple, it's just the journey to this land that is hard to stomach, and those that succeed never speak of it, they have all gone on to do very nicely for themselves though. It ent(r)ails getting as far as possible up a certain part of Gord's anatomy. 

Still enough time to commit his final act of betrayal, and sign us up for the EU constitution.  Can nothing be done to stop this man from giving Britain away?

How could this discredited and resigning war criminal be allowed to sign away Britain's sovereignty as his parting gesture?  The answer can only be that the British political establishment is firmly behind this new world order/reich.

Vis a vis Blair's odd numerology - well, he's a Nazi and just as into occult shenanigans as his predecessors.
