The Telegraph is reporting that Cabinet Ministers are having a whip-round to buy a farewell present for Tony Blair. They are being asked by Sir Gus O'Donnell to cough up £80 to buy a gift valued at approximately £1,680.
Inevitably this news has inspired The Telegraph to ask its readers what they think would be an appropriate parting gift for the Prime Minister. The suggestions are fairly predictable on the whole but there are one or two gems in there. Reading through them it struck me that perhaps Blair should have included the readers of newspapers in his "feral beast" criticisms as well as the newspapers themselves.

Yes, that certainly says far too much. I can certainly imagine some of them enjoying the BDSM scene - Brown, Beckett, Harman, Straw etc.
Can I have some more of the medication please nurse?

Is no one going to start a comment about the possibility of Blair becoming Reich Führer of the EU? I'll bet he's already checked out a silly moustache.
I've heard so many stories
I've heard so many stories about what Blair will do when he finally leaves office, it's becoming pointless to speculate. Some say he'll carry on working for Rupert Murdoch, others have said he'll get a cushy post at the UN. Lately we've heard he'll fast-tracked to be made a deacon of the Catholic church once he converts. The possible job as EU president is just the latest in a long line of rumours (but it is a scary one nonetheless with all this pushing for a
constitutiontreaty). I suspect he'll go for whatever provides the most earning capability and allows him to go on the lecture circuit and hawk his book, but then I could be wrong. I'm still hoping for a special appearance at the Hague although that's a long shot. I guess the thought of diplomatic immunity might be attractive to him.Democracies using Hitler
Democracies using Hitler Decree to fight basic rights.
Speaking of Blair's frienship to Murdoch. I managed to ge the following article www.wrp.org.uk/news/2225 printed in News Line, the paper of the Workers Revolutionary Party, I have constantly tried to get this exposed in the mass circulation media, and none of them will touch it, because it reveals that governments are prepared to use a NAZI law that was written, in the first instance, to make sure the population was kept under control.
This article covers the abuse of Democracy, and all the evidence is available to prove the story.
Also noteworthy is that this story would wipe out any chance of a European Constitution, as it proves that government's are prepared to abuse their own Constitution at will. Many papers profess in public to be against the EU Constitution, yet when they are offered evidence that would kill it for once and for all, they refuse to print it.
I personally amm pro-Europe, but most certainly anti-EU, because it is in no way Democratic, as the correspondence I have had with them on abuse of the individual proves they are not.
Does that much in pounds buy
Does that much in pounds buy a coffin? Buy him a fucking coffin. Hell, I'd give whatever 20 bucks in pounds to do that. Blair needs to understand that hundreds of Brits and thousands of Americans and Iraqis are dead because he threw in with the stupidest president we've ever had.
