David 'Call Me Dave' Cameron is promising to be as radical as the Blessed Margaret:
"I'm going to be as radical a social reformer as Mrs Thatcher was an economic reformer, and radical social reform is what this country needs right now.
"Margaret Thatcher in her time realised that the big challenge was reviving Britain's economy, and we should recognise that the challenge for the modern Conservatives is reviving our society,
It's dealing with the issues of family breakdown, welfare dependency, failing schools, crime, and the problems that we see in too many of our communities."

Well there's an old saying; If you broke it, you fix it.
The social problems Britain faces were largely caused by Thatcher and her turning large parts of Britain's towns and cities into economic wastelands. She gave us long term unemployment, the elimination of major industries, the demonisation of single parents and the poor.
Cameron's invocation of Thatcher shows that he just doesn't get it.
I really think it is you who
I really think it is you who doesn't get it.
Labour has had a long time to 'fix things'. It hasn't. All it's done is keep 5 million 'economically inactive', way above the Thatcher levels and at the same time running up trillions in liabilities that future generations are going to have to pay.
It's these debts that are the problem.
Quarsan, I'm afraid it's you
Quarsan, I'm afraid it's you who doesn't get it. Thatcher paved the way for the Gorgons '10 years of sustained growth'. (And if we'd had a decent fucking government with a chancellor with a fucking clue since then we'd probably be looking at another ten years of growth. Shame we ended up with Brown trousers). To be still blaming the woes of this country on Thatcher 15 years after she left office is pathetic. Absolutely fucking pathetic.
This bunch of fucking half assed socialist tories we've had for the last 11 years have fucked up far more than Maggie ever did. And they will pay at the next election if not before.
You blame the Tories for welfare dependency? I presume you haven't watched the news for the last fucking decade? Do you have any fucking idea how many people are currently unemployed, including all those the Labour party has shuffled off the headline numbers???? Do you have any fucking idea at all about the marginal tax rates people on Benefit pay if they try to get off it?
Sorry but mere words cannot properly describe my complete contempt for you.
