And so, Palin is finally allowed to answer questions from a tame interviewer and we get to see why she's being kept in a box. In short, she makes Dan Quayle look like a statesman and she has an arrogance fromed from ignorance.
As for qualifications, I've met more Heads of State than she has, and I've travelled abroad more than once.

Gibson: Do you agree with the Bush Doctrine? Palin: In what respect, Charlie?
Gibson: What do you interpret it to be?
Palin: His worldview?
Gibson: No, the Bush Doctrine. Annunciated September 2002, before the Iraq War.
Palin: I believe that what President Bush has attempted to do is rid this world of Islamic extremism. Terrorists who are hellbent on destroying our nation. There have been blunders along the way, though, there have been mistakes made. And with new leadership– and that’s the beauty of American elections of course and of democracy– is with new leadership comes opportunity to do things better.
Gibson: The Bush Doctrine, as I understand it, is that we have the right of anticipatory self-defense.

Look. Come on.
You've been saying for aaages that Bush is a numpty. and all of a sudden you are ridiculing a person who didn't know he had a doctrine! I didn't know he had a doctrine.
And, of course, we can
And, of course, we can always trust the editors and believe that rumours of a media campaign to discredit Mrs Palin are completely untrue. So why do so many people make these claims?

I think she's the last of
I think she's the last of the great Medieval thinkers...
Mind you, I'm completely bonkers.
Fact.
