So it's not going well in Afghanistan. Thankfully Defence Secretary, John Hutton knows who to blame.

Right. Not the British govenment who went off on a wild WMD chase in Iraq instead of consolidating in Kabul. Not the cosying to Bush that put off the civilised world. Not the government that failed to listen to their own military advisors. Not the govenment that has stretched our armed forces to breaking point in following a neo-con fantasy.

Of course not. It's the fault of countries that weren't dumb enough to hitch their foreign policies to Cheney's dream world.
