So what's this about the RAF ready to shoot down civilian aircraft ???
Very, very peculiar BBC report about the readiness of the RAF to shoot down any flying thing that looks dodgy ??? A completely unexpected story.
Seems like a New Labour planted story to me - it's either covering something completely different or it's getting us ready for exactly that scenario

It was the headline article on news at 10 last night. Bedblogger said exactly the same thing as vervet posted... I'll have a dig around later tonight for the story after I have varnished my floor...

The second part is tonight at 10pm. This one is on the Typhoon.
It had the whiff of tanks at heathrow to it to be honest.
Much like when nasty for New Labour news abounds and BBC suddenly remembers there is famine and mass rape etc in Africa, so they can put out awful images of starving babies, that BBC has ignored for some time.
Pisses me off. ITV doing it would be one thing, but WE PAY A LICENCE FEE FOR BLAIR PROPOGANDA.
Totally wierd, out the blue item.
Has this type of mass execution been mentioned in Parliament?
Or just another one of dems things we the taxpaying, easyjet-flying public don't need to know about?

As you say, nothing new, not a substantial change to QRA / BF (depending where you are) ROE my RAF chums tell me.
