A report in the Independent today is a timely reminder that Dumbya is but a mouthpiece for the neo-con controllers, Cheyney and Rumsfeld. These are the crazies with plans for world domination.
Bush is such an easy target that we always default to extraction of the contents of his bladder ... we need to re-target our 'weapons of max denigration' on the real, evil villains.

Also, hegemony over the Middle East and its oil has been the stated foreign policy of the US for decades, regardless of which party was in power.
Some say Bush is an aberration, a grostesque departure from the norm. But he's more an extreme example of policy that's been in place since WWI. In a word, imperialism.
Yet the war has gone horribly wrong, just like in Vietnam, and for the same reasons too. But the US could leave Vietnam more easily. The US wants control of the oil in Iraq, they will not leave unless forced.
The lunacies of Bush have split the rulers here. They are no longer moving in lockstep on the war. Plus, the Abramoff investigations are showing a Congress awash in corruption on both sides of the aisles. Many will fall. The next few months will be tumultuous indeed.
I think Bush will fall too. Then maybe we can start repairing the country.
Hard-right commentator Pat Buchanan, who opposed the war, said as it was starting that, "This is the end of American empire."

Never thought that I would have empathy with one of Mr. Buchanan's opinions !
Just hope you are right about Bush falling and that Tony B Liar quickly follows.
