The documents Craig Murray released yesterday concerned British complicity with the Uzbek regime, but it is worth remembering the British relationship with the Uzbeks is governed by the US relationship with the Uzbeks.

It is also worth remembering what has driven the US relationship with the Uzbeks, and that it pre-dates The War Against Terror.
