George Galloway in Big Brother House...!

Were we criticicising George Galloway for not fulfilling his duties as an MP? Well my mobile has been buzzing telling me that he has just walked into the Celebrity Big Brother House. Turned the TV on, and it's true...!

I hope his constituents feel adequately represented...

I didn't recognise any of the others in the 30 secs I watched, but did here someone saying "and who are you?" when he was introducing himself as George Galloway, Member of Parliament...

The only other "celebrity"

The only other "celebrity" in the house I've heard of is Michael Barrymore. Let's hope the Big Brother house doesn't have a swimming pool.

My opinion of Gorgeous George went up significantly following his barnstorming performance against those American senators. My opinion has now sunk back to previous levels. He clearly considers publicity and celebrity more important than representing his constituents and generally doing his job.

i'm fucking cringing...i

i'm fucking cringing...i LOVED him for going to the States, bah.

Let's just wait and see. The

Let's just wait and see.

The press are bound to attack him for not representing his constituency etc, because the press hate him for beating them on several occasions in court. He may well be voted out first, in which case he can get back to representing his constituents.

But while he is in there he may well be able to spread the word and convince a few people. This is the man who took on the neocons in their own backyard...and won! He definitely has an agenda.

But what is it?

Is it to raise the profile of his charity, The Mariam Appeal?

Is it to show the public what a complete waste of time the programme is?

Is it to show the public that all the programme is doing is conditioning them to total surveillance?

Not's let jump to conclusions just yet.

One more thing: I think I

One more thing: I think I recall David Icke saying he was approached, as was going to be approached, and asked to appear in this particular series. If this is true, and Icke declined, then has Galloway been invited to be stitched up, embarrased, ridiculed in some way so that in the next neocon war the antiwar movement can be ridiculed?

I'm not a big Galloway fan -

I'm not a big Galloway fan - I also enjoyed his performance in the US, but ......

However, if Galloway has been "... invited to be stitched up ..." then the stitcher will need to be on top of his/her game because whatever you think of George, he is no-ones fool.
