To paraphrase a famous Liverpuddlian, imagine all the people saying NO to Condi the warmonger.

You heard the man - pass it on!

Rob Love, aka Larry Love of

Rob Love, aka Larry Love of Alabama3 gave a shout for the protests against Condi's visit to Liverpool during his gig at the Barfly tonight, with a namecheck for the CondiWatch.co.uk url as he introduced the songs from his album 'Ghost Flight'.

Who needs an ex Beatle's endorsement, when you've got the boys from Brixton Alabama on side...;)

Seems that the organisers

Seems that the organisers are finding it a touch difficult finding comperes for the event in honour of the lying warmonger. Poet Roger McGough pulled out last week, yesterday, actress Cathy Tyson also pulled out. Cathy will be joining us in the protests. So a big well done to Mr McGough, and Ms. Tyson.

Meant to add, There's a

Meant to add, There's a regular phone in on Radio City (A Liverpool based radio station). Tomorrow night, they'll be discussing Rice's visit with George Galloway. As many people as possible need to try and ring Radio City from 10 PM tomorrow night (Wednesday) - 0151 472 0967 to support these protests.

This has very little to do

This has very little to do with Condi but its so funny, I thought I'll share this. As you may be aware Bush has has been making rather a lot of public appearances lately and coming up with absolute gems on all manner of things. This particular one is an absolute gem:

''One of the most pure forms of democracy is the marketplace, the demand causes something to happen. Excess demand causes prices to go up and vice versa and that stands in contrast to governments that set prices and try to control demand''

I am not sure the point he was trying to make since this wasn't offered as a reply to any query, not was the venue touted to promote any marketplace.

I just wish I could feel reassured with such geniuses at the helm of global finance.
